Pairs well with a Bup Labs Garmin Varia mount (Fizik ICS + Mount Arm Kit (SE)), if you have a long saddle bag. The bolts you use (20mm length M5) will require a lot more torque (you'll need a ratchet wrench with a medium-sized lever) to keep this secure, because this aluminum extender is not as flexible as a plastic one, but it seems a lot stronger than plastic alternatives and it's still holding my Varia in place without rotating. An assembly compound/friction paste may also work with reduced torque, but I haven't bothered trying.
So far so good. Kept easily breaking the plastic ones so got these.

Needed to drop my Canondale SmartSense light so it will clear the radar SmartSense and this worked perfectly. I only gave it 4 stars only because it's aluminum and aluminum will not compress so I have to use carbon paste and really torque the bolts down to keep the light from moving. If the arm's mounting surface areas are not smooth, I would rate it 5 stars
Used to replace a broken plastic piece. I doubt this one will break.
