    With a couple more little parts I can make as clamps or adapters it will be nice to hold small things in place while soldering or painting or anything your imagination can come up with. I put a quarter inch threaded insert into my bench top to hold this item. So I can hold small things in place to work on them. It's kind of like having a third hand! Great for the DIY crowd and craft loving folks as well. One of those things you think you don't need and then one day after you're had it a while you will wonder how you got along without one. Its small, so don't expect it to hold something that's 15 or 20 pounds in place for you. It's made to hold a camera... but, there's lots of other uses for it with a little imagination.

    Got cameras, including Go Pro cameras? You need this. Almost every type of camera related gadget uses 1/4" thread and this can be used more ways than I can list here.
    Crazy good price.
    Fit and finish on this is almost perfect. Looks great.
    This is super solid and is all metal. This will not fail you.
