I don't know why gopro failed to get this right, but the thumb screws that come with the camera are just a little too short for either the Max camera or the Media Mod. These solve that problem. Great product. I've gone ahead and bought more. Thank you!
With the GoPro media mod you can barely use the standard thumb screws as they are not long enough to stick out past the housing. That made it very hard to tighten. These are just long enough to stick out past the housing which allows you to easily tighten them. Not too long either. The knurling also makes it easy to grip.
