When put the GoPro Hero10 Black on for a specific time to record, you found that there is nothing to show up on the Quik App. That means the GPS does not work during that shooting?
Not really.
*The desktop version of Quik is not compatible with the GPS data in the Hero 10 (or 9, or 8 ). You will need to use 3rd party software. This video has some tips.
Therefore, how to get the GPS to work on GoPro Hero10 Black?
- Turn the camera on for a few minutes before starting to record, it has to acquire satellites before you start filming for it to save the GPS data.
- Pull down the GoPro Hero10 Black from the top and check the location/pin icon, it must be blue before starting recording.
