Many GoPro users complained that the GoPro Hero10 Black is not picked up when directly connected to a MacBook Pro using USB-C to USB-C cable. It does not have a "USB Connection" option in the settings to change from MTP to GoPro Connect like the GoPro Hero8 or GoPro Hero9.

Actually, this mode is not available now according to the GoPro official representatives. GoPro users could use below methods to connect the GoPro to the MacBook. Hope this bug could be fixed soon.
1. Transfer GoPro Files Using an SD Card
The easiest method of copying files from the GoPro to your MacBook is to use an SD card with a micro SD card reader. If you have a MacBook that has only USB-C ports, you need to purchase a micro SD card reader that can connect via USB-C.
2. Transfer GoPro Files Using Image Capture
The MacBook operating system includes Image Capture, a piece of software that gives you access to the GoPro. You need a USB-C cable to connect the GoPro to the Mac.
